About I'm an Adult I Promise

iconThis is the chronicle of the immature antics of me: man-child in training.

About Me: My name is Brian and somehow I tricked the world into thinking I'm an adult. I play guitar and sing in a garage band and I like to make noise.

I mainly post comedy TV shows: Psych, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, etc though I try to post as much original content as I can. I post dumb comics and reviews of weird varieties of popular foods I see. I also manage an animal blog, Overheard in the Wilderness that's pretty cool.

Two students, James and John were given a grammar test by their teacher. The question was, “is it better to use “had” or “had had” in this example sentence?”

The teacher collected the tests, and looked over their answers.

James, while John had had “had”, had had “had had.” “Had had” had had a better effect on the teacher.

#personal #me #real life

Last Friday my great grandma died.
She was 97 years old and was an amazing woman.
Today was her funeral and burial. Afterwards we all went to an Italian restaurant near her house and I had way too much wine.
We came home and almost immediately I feel asleep in my bed for 5 hours. I woke up at 11:45 PM and now it’s 3:30 and I can’t get back to sleep.
I’m not sure where I’m going with this post.
It was going to be a tribute to my Great Grandmother and kinda turned into a run of the mill post about me not being able to get to sleep.
I guess it’s a little bit of both.
Goodbye, Great Grandma, we all love you

jaspinder:

  • breath in for 4 seconds
  • hold your breath for 7 seconds
  • exhale breath for 8 seconds

repeat once or twice more.

This causes an autonomic nervous system shift from a sympathetic (fight or flight reaction) state to a parasympathetic response.

Use this for panic/anxiety attacks, exams, presentations.

Never not reblog

Tumblr got anxiety advice. Fuck yeah.
